Our DNA: Sandra Werner - B2B Social Media Specialist

In October 2021, our team gained another new member, as Sandra is now also part of our DNA. For this new professional challenge, she has come to us from a small town near Stuttgart to the big metropolis on the Main. Having worked as a social media specialist at a medium-sized B2B company, she already has a wealth of experience in this field and is eager to bring it to Social DNA.

How did you come to Social DNA?

During my studies, I was able to gain a lot of practical experience in digital marketing at a medium-sized B2B company. I had the opportunity to write my bachelor's thesis in the field of social media and to manage the channels and develop a strategy. The following year, I started my career there and was responsible for the design and further development of social media.As I wanted to focus more and more on social media, I was looking for a new challenge. I came across a job advertisement from Social DNA on LinkedIn, as I had been following the company on this platform for some time and had already taken part in a few presentations.

What fascinates you about social media marketing?

I am particularly fascinated by the variety of channels and formats, there are no limits and you can use social media in an incredible number of ways. I think it's great how much variety social media offers. There's something new to discover every day, work definitely never gets boring here.

Why did you choose Social DNA?

I have been very interested in social media for several years. Not only do I have an affinity for social media in my private life, I also enjoy dealing with it professionally and have the desire to specialize in this field and have found the ideal workplace for this at Social DNA.

I also felt very comfortable on the introductory day, where I was allowed to tackle real sample tasks from the consulting business, and knew immediately that I would fit perfectly into the Social DNA team. 😊

What is your strength and how do you bring it to projects and partners?

Through my many years of experience, I have developed a passion for the B2B environment. One of my strengths is to inspire my colleagues and fellow human beings for the social media platforms and to support them in using them correctly for professional purposes. LinkedIn in particular is an absolutely key channel for me in this industry, where I am always active and up to date.

I also have very good knowledge of photography and image editing. As image material is sometimes the decisive factor for social media, these advanced skills complement my profile in this area.

What dreams and goals are you pursuing?

Professionally: I want to enjoy my work and keep learning in order to stay up to date.

Private: I've already laid the foundations for living in a big city for a longer period of time with my start at Social DNA and I'm very excited about what the time ahead will bring. I'm also very interested in nature and traveling, so I really want to see the Northern Lights and go on a safari.

What do you particularly like about Social DNA?

I feel very comfortable in the dynamic team. I really appreciated the relaxed team atmosphere on the introductory day. And now I'm surrounded by numerous experts in the field of social media every day, from whom I can and want to learn so much. 😊

Which drink should not be missed when toasting?

A good rosé or white wine and gin and tonic are my absolute favorites.
