Our DNA: Patrick Hartmann - The social media connoisseur

Building and maintaining an impressive and successful social media presence is like his surname - the Frankfurt native with French and Lithuanian roots has been part of the Social DNA team since August 2024. No trend escapes him - he speaks TikTok fluently. His mission: to make customers smile broadly and happily.

How did you come to Social DNA?

By chance - I signed up for the StepStone newsletter out of sheer curiosity. Just to see what was on the market. Many jobs were suggested to me - but there was never one where I thought: “Yes, that's it.”  One day, however, I was proven wrong. Checking my email, I received a message from StepStone as usual. Like the 587 before it, I opened it without any expectations.  

And there it was: The first job that really appealed to me:

I applied for the position straight away, full of enthusiasm. After a really pleasant application process, I'm glad that it worked out in the end and that I can now be part of the team! ‍

What fascinates you about social media marketing?

I don't even know where to start.

It has always been an affair of the heart for me. For someone like me, who has always struck a balance between the rational and the creative, I was practically predestined to dedicate myself to the profession.  

Above all, I find the power of social media amazing every day - trends can be born out of nothing in a matter of days, while others are forgotten.

Why did you choose Social DNA?

So many things spoke for the agency - the uncompromising specialization in social media, the warm team and the contemporary management of Carmelo and Nemo!

And as a little bonus: The short walk 😉.

What is your strength and how do you bring it to projects and partners?

I like to think around several corners - but no more than four, otherwise I end up back at square one. This also allows me to take an unconventional perspective on things - I can provide good input, especially for projects that need freshness.  

Nevertheless, I see myself as a team player - nobody can do everything. If you really want to make a difference, you do it as part of a team.  

My interest in mathematics has also brought out my analytical streak - this is particularly useful when it comes to monitoring and the data-driven disciplines in social media marketing.

What dreams and goals are you pursuing?

Professionally, I want to gain a deep insight into the topic of social media so that I can provide more competent advice in the future and put a big smile on my customers' faces. It is also very important to me to support my team as quickly as possible.

In addition to my job, I want to continue to let off steam creatively and in sports. I want to make more music and take more photographs, explore the world and run a half marathon next spring.

What do you particularly like about Social DNA?

The interactions here are really warm and appreciative. From day one, you are well guided through the processes and never let down. It's really great to be in such a modern working environment.

Which drink should not be missed when toasting?

To give you a legal answer: It depends.

When it's sunny and over 20 degrees: Aperol Spritz
